Job Overview:
Account Manager RoleWe are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing, developing, and managing relationships with existing partners.
- Manage and grow existing partner relationships to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement business plans to secure larger or longer-term deals.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Effective territory management through categorisation and prioritisation of new and existing partners.
- Identify sales opportunities to build a sales pipeline and strategize daily activities to meet monthly targets.
- Develop business plans to secure larger or longer-term deals and manage ongoing partnerships.
- Run and present at sales events to drive attendance among partners.
- Increase penetration within the existing partner base and ensure knowledge of features and functionality is up-to-date via training and webinars.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales.
- Proven sales performance with strong rapport-building skills.
- Interest in the emerging online accounting market.
- Accounting product knowledge and understanding of an accounting practice.
- Attention to detail, follow-up, and self-motivation.
- Experience with presentation tools, spreadsheet software, and CRM databases.
