Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team at Jaipur Palace. As a Chef at Jaipur Palace, you will play a crucial role in crafting memorable dining experiences for our guests and contributing to the ongoing success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective food cost control strategies to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
  • Participate in the selection and hiring process to onboard skilled and qualified kitchen personnel and provide training to ensure they perform their duties adequately.
  • Design menus that balance creativity, seasonal availability, and customer preferences, ensuring a unique and engaging dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure a clean and organized kitchen during and after service.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of dishes throughout every stage of preparation, ensuring that each plate meets high standards in taste, presentation, and culinary excellence.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Optimize inventory and ordering processes to support kitchen operations, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with managers, dietitians, kitchen staff, and waiting staff to foster a supportive and efficient working environment.
  • Introduce new cooking techniques, recipes, and menu items to enhance culinary offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant environment.
  • A friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
  • Energetic and motivated with a passion for Indian cuisine.

Salary Package: $70,000 - $80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
