About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Urban Traffic Operations Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic across our network.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of traffic management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage traffic flow on our network, identifying and responding to incidents and anomalies in real-time.
  • Collaborate with field staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination during incidents and special events.
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans to minimize disruptions and optimize traffic flow.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance our operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a related field, such as transportation or logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
