Claims Management Specialist


Job Description:

As a Claims Management Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and identifying claims that do not fall within the scope of policies to ensure the correct outcome has been made. You will also liaise with stakeholders to discuss outcomes and dispute resolution.

You will prepare and draft appropriate documentation to stakeholders when required. Your role will involve developing customer relationships to understand and meet their needs, delivering a positive customer experience.

Maintaining knowledge of insurance guidelines, legislation, regulations, and court decisions is essential in this role. You will recommend policy changes for continuous improvement and compliance.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated claims management experience in a complex Customer Service environment
  • Ability to optimise business value by delivering high-quality services and positive customer experiences
  • Possess technical knowledge of relevant insurance lines and associated legislation
  • High attention to detail and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, and communication tools
