About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position at Level 5-6 with a salary package commencing at $93,169 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain control networks for construction purposes
  • Read and interpret engineering plans
  • Conduct survey setout for civil works on site
  • Maintain appropriate quality assurance and data management practices
  • Adhere to industry and organisational OH&S standards
  • Facilitate the survey pickup and processing of as-constructed data, in accordance with council's Ascon guidelines, to be included in Council's spatial and asset management systems
About You
  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
  • Current Class C driver's licence
  • Associate Degree in Surveying (or equivalent Qualifications) or substantial industry experience in the field of Surveying
  • The ability to be registered as an Associate, Graduate, or Surveyor with the Surveyors Board Queensland
  • Experience with the use of 12 D and Leica or Trimble survey equipment would be highly regarded
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
