We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Brisbane. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, coordinate, and project manage urban, land, and subdivision projects from feasibility through to construction.
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects.
  • Manage projects, including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets.
  • Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Prepare and review proposals, variation estimates, and submission documents.
  • Contribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering, including planning, design, and construction.
  • Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients.
  • Assist in the securing and delivery of projects through business development and client relationship management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land, and subdivisions.
  • Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction.
  • Project management skills.
  • Business development skills, local industry knowledge, and connections in the market.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
