Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our commercial operations, including financial and project transactions, cost analysis, and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial and Project Transactions: Prepare, maintain, and process financial and project transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Cost Analysis and Reporting: Analyze project costs, prepare monthly cost reports, and provide commentary on any variances.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to inspect projects, ensure compliance with company standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Valuation and Payment: Value completed work, apply for payments, and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
  • Commercial Performance Measurement: Use systems and processes to measure commercial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Assist in providing accurate, real-time monthly reports and final outcome forecasts.
  • Meetings and Communication: Attend meetings with site teams, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Commercial and Sales teams, including ad-hoc duties and tasks.
Requirements
