Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and processing financial and project transactions, analyzing project costs, and liaising with clients and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process financial and project transactions, including invoicing and payment applications.
  • Analyze project costs and prepare monthly cost reports and commentary for any variance.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect projects and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, construction teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Value completed work and apply for payments in a timely manner.
  • Use commercial systems and processes to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in providing accurate, real-time monthly reports and final outcome forecasts.
  • Attend meetings with site teams, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual with previous experience in a quantity surveying role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial processes and a keen eye for detail.
