Job Overview

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is a dynamic and vibrant community of over 80 schools, serving around 43,500 students in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the efficient operation and integration of all ICT infrastructure, including wireless and wired networks, VOIP, MFD, CCTV, security systems, audio visual, technology hardware, servers etc.

They will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of all ICT systems, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, ITSM tools, cyclical maintenance and other educational tools and platforms.

Liaising with the Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters is also an essential part of this role.

Developing and managing all third-party contractual relationships with vendors and service providers will also be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and develop a short and long-term ICT plan for the site which is supportive of the current and future needs of users.
  • Work with relevant staff in the provision of high-quality professional development for ICT platforms, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the ICT elements and setup of onsite and offsite events.
  • Work in conjunction with leadership and/or event organizers to ensure all ICT components for onsite events are coordinated, set up, and managed appropriately.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of study.
  • NNW Working with Children Check.
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience in infrastructure, network, and ICT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and compliance, ability to work under pressure.
