Job Title: ICT Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the operation and maintenance of all ICT infrastructure, including wireless and wired networks, VOIP, MFD, CCTV, security systems, audio visual equipment, and technology hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Management:
    • Manage the technical aspects of ICT systems, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, ITSM tools, cyclical maintenance, and other educational platforms.
  • System Administration:
    • Lead the technical aspects of ICT systems, including network management, system integration, and data security.
  • Liaison and Collaboration:
    • Liaise with the Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Develop and manage contractual relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide necessary advice, support, and management to facilitate the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Facilitate and develop short and long-term ICT plans that meet the current and future needs of users.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Appropriate experience in infrastructure, network, and ICT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions:

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment, including a valid Working with Children Check and compliance with Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct.
