ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer Role">

We are seeking an experienced ICT infrastructure design engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of ICT infrastructure design packages, including written report documents, drawings, schematics, schedules, technical specifications, and procurement packs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing 2D CAD design drawings and 3D Revit models in collaboration with Revit BIM team colleagues.
  • Design coordination and clash detection with MEP services.
  • Representing the organization at technical and design team meetings, as well as customer meetings, professional design teams, and contractor teams.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years' experience in ICT infrastructure design engineering.
  • Data cabling manufacture/contracting experience.
  • Technical qualifications and design experience in structured cabling systems, data cabling containment systems, IP/Ethernet data networks, wireless data networks, outside plant, telecommunication network infrastructure, and services.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Navisworks, MS Office applications, and IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software is desirable. Strong commercial awareness, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are essential.
