Job Description

As a Senior ICT Infrastructure Specialist, you will lead the operation and integration of all ICT infrastructure, including wireless and wired networks, VOIP, MFD, CCTV, security systems, audio visual, technology hardware, servers etc. Your key responsibilities include managing the technical aspects of all ICT systems, collaborating with the Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters, and providing necessary advice, support, and management to facilitate the effective and seamless integration of technology into teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the efficient operation and integration of all ICT infrastructure.
  • Lead the technical aspects of all ICT systems, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, ITSM tools, cyclical maintenance, and other educational tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters.
  • Develop and manage third-party contractual relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Provide expert advice, support, and management to facilitate the integration of technology into teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a short- and long-term ICT plan for the site, supportive of current and future user needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of study.
  • A NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience in infrastructure, network, and ICT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and compliance, ability to work under pressure.
