Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Role Overview

A detail-oriented professional with a passion for managing payroll and benefits is sought after to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, administering employee benefits programs, and providing exceptional support to staff.


Payload Administration Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll accurately and compliantly, auditing documents and reconciling variances in time & attendance data.
  • Manage employee files, maintain vacation and sick time records, and develop an in-depth understanding of payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Prepares and maintains employee data for new hires, changes, additional earnings, etc., and creates reports on demand.

Benefits Administration
  • Administer all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement programs, I-9/e-Verify, workers' compensation, and life insurance claims.
  • Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues, provide in-depth presentations during onboarding processes, and enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all benefit enrollments, update HRIS databases, and provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.

Additional HR Duties
  • Participate in the new employee onboarding experience, respond to employment verifications and surveys as needed, and ensure all required reporting forms are up-to-date and maintained accurately.
  • Provide backup duties for the HR Team and assist in developing Human Resource department goals, objectives, and systems.
