Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the daily functions of the housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, communal areas, and service zones to ensure adherence to cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Provide training and support to the housekeeping team, promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Administer housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring all areas are sufficiently stocked.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will possess strong leadership abilities, a meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methodologies, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions based on priorities and guest requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management systems.
  • Strong focus on detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

This position may involve physical tasks such as lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
