Position OverviewThe Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing and managing the daily functions of the housekeeping team.
- Conducting inspections of guest rooms, communal areas, and service areas to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Training and mentoring housekeeping staff to promote a positive work environment.
- Overseeing inventory and supplies for housekeeping, ensuring all areas are well-stocked.
- Collaborating with other departments to facilitate seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping is required.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks based on guest requirements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and housekeeping management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
