Position OverviewThe Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Key duties include:
- Leading and organizing the housekeeping team’s daily tasks.
- Conducting inspections of guest rooms and communal areas to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Training and mentoring staff to promote a positive and efficient team environment.
- Managing inventory and supplies to ensure all areas are sufficiently stocked.
- Collaborating with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a pristine and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping is required.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks based on guest requirements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and housekeeping management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
