Product Support Specialist

This role requires a technical support specialist to provide exceptional service and expertise to clients across Western Australia. The successful candidate will be based in our Perth office, with regular site travel.

  • About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced technical support specialist to join our team as a Product Support Advisor. This is a full-time position responsible for providing technical support and product expertise to our mining equipment clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    The primary responsibilities of this role include:

    • Serving as the primary technical contact for clients, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting product issues in a timely manner
    • Providing training and guidance to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of our mining equipment
    • Liaising with our engineering and manufacturing teams to communicate customer feedback and requirements
    • Preparing technical documentation and user manuals to support the implementation and use of our products
    • Identifying opportunities to improve our product offerings and customer service based on client needs
    • Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and support activities
  • Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Preferably, minimum 3 years' experience in a technical support or product advisor role, ideally within the mining equipment industry
    • Strong understanding of the design, operation and maintenance of heavy equipment used in mining and extractive applications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
    • Ability and willingness to provide support to our resource clients outside of normal business hours over the phone, if required
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical or product issues
    • Skilled at translating technical information into easy-to-understand guidance for customers
    • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline such as boilermaker in heavy fabrication is highly regarded
