**About the Opportunity**
Malcolm Thompson Pumps now have an exciting opportunity available for a product specialist to support customers and the sales team at our WA offices.

This role will see you provide day to day product and technical support to assist customers and the sales team achieve their goals. The role will also involve helping to develop product category plans and budgets.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Manage allocated product lines and provide recommendations across the company's existing product range
- Identify new market segments and product lines, plus adjustments required to existing product lines
- Provide internal customer services to resellers
- Recommend technically competent solutions to customers
- Maintain strong and productive working relationships with core suppliers
- Provide technical training and support to the customer service team, whilst maintaining and developing own knowledge.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you should possess;
- A strong, practical, understanding of pumping principles and in depth product and industry knowledge.
- Previous experience as a product specialist within a sales organisation.
- Ability to interpret part manuals and catalogues
- Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers licence and sound computer literacy
- A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the Malcolm Thompson Pumps business.
