The Role
- Undertake site inspections and investigations on residential and commercial buildings to identify defects, propose repair solutions, and compile remedial reports.
- Diagnose building defects, identifying causes and proposing practical repair solutions in conjunction with clients.
- Assist clients including builders, strata managers, insurers, and homeowners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support project delivery by documenting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Occasionally assist with construction phase services and site supervision as required.
About You
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential for this role.
- Two to four years' experience in structural design, remedial, or related engineering fields is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively liaise with clients.
- An interest in remedial, forensic, and defect investigation work is desired.
