About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Remedial Engineer to join our team and take on a variety of exciting projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious professional with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and high proficiency in report writing and documentation.

You will be responsible for performing site inspections and identifying building defects such as water proofing issues, cracks and other structural defects. You will also provide design solutions and compile reports.

The role offers the opportunity to undertake a range of responsibilities that will include site visits, forensic investigations, building inspections, documentation/photographs, writing reports, proposing and designing a scope of works, specifications and major defect rectification/problem resolution.

You will be mentored by a senior Remedial Manager who has gained significant experience and is well respected within the industry.

Key Responsibilities and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years Remedial Engineering experience, predominantly gained working in Australia.
  • Perform investigative works on-site for structural assessment.
  • Prepare clear and concise structural reports to satisfy all aspects of the structural assessment, for the facility management, strata, legal and insurance industries.
  • Undertake remedial analysis/designs.
  • Prepare technical scopes of work and tender packages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a building construction related degree.
  • Proven knowledge in using software for structural analysis and design.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
