Telecom Test Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Test Analyst to join a leading client in Sydney. This role is open to both permanent and contract arrangements.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with telecom products (Voice, Data, Broadband, Mobile) and validate order lifecycle from entry to service activation across business support systems/ordering system software platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Order Management and Provisioning systems and strong understanding of telecom fulfillment processes, product catalog, and order decomposition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end testing of Order Management and Provisioning flows for telecom products.
  • Validate order lifecycle from entry to service activation across BSS/OSS systems.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
  • Ensure accurate orchestration of service orders across provisioning platforms and network elements.
Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in Telecom domain testing, with at least 2+ years in Order Management & Provisioning.
  • Strong understanding of telecom fulfillment processes, product catalog, and order decomposition.
  • Experience with BSS/OSS systems such as Siebel, Netcracker, Comptel, Amdocs, or similar platforms.
  • Good exposure to workflow engines and provisioning gateways.
  • Solid understanding of telecom services (Fixed Line, Mobile, Broadband, VoIP, etc.).
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend validation.
