We\'re seeking an experienced Telecom Test Analyst with hands-on expertise in Order Management and Provisioning systems to join a leading Telco client in Sydney. This role is open to both Permanent and Contract arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end testing of Order Management and Provisioning flows for telecom products (Voice, Data, Broadband, Mobile).
  • Validate order lifecycle from order entry to service activation across BSS/OSS systems.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and E2E tests.
  • Ensure accurate orchestration of service orders across provisioning platforms and network elements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and environment teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
  • Review technical and business requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Conduct data validation across CRM, Order Management, and downstream provisioning systems.
  • Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Postman, SOAP UI, and SQL for test execution and defect tracking.
  • Participate in defect triage and test reporting sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Work within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks, contributing to sprint ceremonies and QA best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in Telecom domain testing, with at least 2+ years in Order Management & Provisioning.
  • Strong understanding of telecom fulfilment processes, product catalog, and order decomposition.
  • Experience with BSS/OSS systems such as Siebel, Netcracker, Comptel, Amdocs, or similar platforms.
  • Good exposure to workflow engines and provisioning gateways.
  • Solid understanding of telecom services (Fixed Line, Mobile, Broadband, VoIP, etc.).
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and integration scenarios.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID).
  • Experience with test automation for Order Management workflows.
  • ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
  • Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and test tools like TestNG, Selenium, Jenkins, etc.
  • Be part of high-impact digital transformation programs in the Telecom sector.
  • Work with a leading Australian Telco client.
  • Flexibility to work as a permanent employee or contractor.
  • Hybrid or on-site work environment in Sydney.
