Job Title: Risk and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on risk management and compliance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 risk/controls role, ideally in banking, financial services or professional services/advisory. You will have strong technical knowledge of risk frameworks and governance, as well as experience embedding risk management practices.

You will work closely with our leadership team to drive uplift and implementation of key programs across regulatory change, business continuity, resilience, information and records management, information security and cyber risk management.

Responsibilities

1. Act as SME for business unit risk reporting, incident and issue management, controls design and testing, and regulatory compliance obligations.
2. Drive uplift and implementation of key programs across regulatory change, business continuity, resilience, information and records management, information security and cyber risk management.
3. Support clients during their annual vendor regulatory compliance questionnaires.
4. Partner with Group Risk to ensure alignment with Group-wide frameworks and policies.
5. Act as a trusted advisor to APAC business leaders, role-modelling best practice risk management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 risk/controls role, ideally in banking, financial services or professional services/advisory.
• Strong technical knowledge of risk frameworks and governance.
• Experience embedding risk management practices – from controls design and implementation through to monitoring, reporting, issue and incident management.
• Excellent collaboration, influencing, and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical business outcomes.
