Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Investment and Fund Services team as a Senior Risk and Compliance Specialist.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify potential risks and implement effective risk management practices across the business operations. The successful candidate will have expertise in financial services regulation, governance, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to provide value-added advice to the Business. They should be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of legal, risk, and compliance frameworks and operate within these guidelines effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential risks across the business operations.
  • Implement and maintain effective risk management practices and controls.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on risk exposure and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated approach to risk management.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a governance, regulatory compliance, or legal role.
  • Experience working in a regulated Superannuation/Investment financial services business.
  • Strong understanding of legal, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide value-added advice to the Business.
