About the Role

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our team, with responsibilities such as:

  • Providing support to state leadership teams and being their first point of contact for all matters related to employee engagement and culture.
  • Partnering with managers to develop highly effective teams and a positive workplace culture.
  • Coaching managers on our policies and procedures, workplace relations issues, performance improvement, and legal compliance.
  • Administering the formal performance management and remuneration life-cycle.
  • Managing the exit process, monitoring trends in employee turnover to create opportunities for improvement.
  • Being a point of contact for employees to discuss career development, policies, and general enquiries.
  • Collaborating with the People Team to support creating a great place to work and a constructive and inclusive culture.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or Business, combined with over 4 years of experience.
  • Understanding of HR principles and current workplace relations legislation.
  • Able to build and maintain key relationships remotely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A systematic approach to working and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Able to travel interstate regularly and work across different time zones.
