Industrial Designer Opportunity

At Motion Recruitment Pty, we're seeking a talented Industrial Designer to join our client's innovative team. As a leading innovator, they're committed to designing and developing products that enhance user experience and push the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative product designs from initial idea to final product.
  • Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results to achieve the optimal user experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial design or a related role.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Solid Works, Rhino, or similar.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).
  • Excellent sketching and prototyping skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
