Job Summary:

Motion Recruitment is seeking a talented and passionate Industrial Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative product designs that enhance user experience and push the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative product designs from initial idea to final product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to create products that are visually appealing, highly functional, and user-friendly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial design or a related role.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Excellent sketching and prototyping skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
