Rheumatology Specialist

This role is a critical part of our multidisciplinary team in the Rheumatology Department at Westmead Hospital.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quinquennial Visiting Medical Officer to join our team.
- The successful applicant will possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will have sound clinical knowledge in Rheumatology, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
They will also have high-level interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice are essential.
A research interest/clinical expertise in spondyloarthritis or psoriatic arthritis would be advantageous.
The successful applicant will be required to work up to 128 hours per annum.
Applicants expecting to be awarded fellowship within 3 months are eligible to apply.
