Transport Operations Supervisor

About the Role
DP World Australia is seeking a skilled Transport Operations Supervisor to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our landside transport team to ensure safety, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage transport operations within budget expectations to provide effective service provision
- Evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Oversee the execution of transport functions for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations
- Plan and coordinate customer deliveries to meet service level agreements
- Monitor and ensure accurate invoicing from a transport perspective for receivables and payables
- Serve as the super user for the TMS and primary point of contact within the Transport team for the implementation project
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching for direct reports
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a transport-related role, preferably with notable experience managing frontline works
- Experience working with Transport Management systems
- Knowledge of the container transport industry and strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Effective planning skills and ability to lead a team to deliver outcomes aligned with business requirements and expectations
