About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Duratec Australia.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite engineering services and technical support on construction projects, including façade, rail, and infrastructure with our Tier 1 clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate works, equipment, and personnel to ensure project delivery.
  • Provide technical advice to personnel regarding design, construction, program modification, or repairs.
  • Compile and create QA/QC documentation to ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements.
  • Program and schedule works to meet project deadlines.
  • Quantity take-offs to ensure accurate project costs.
  • Facilitate regular project management meetings to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
  • Extensive on-ground project engineering experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or similar).
  • Project delivery skills, including budgeting and coordinating works.
  • Client-facing with a strong commercial skillset.
  • Able to positively influence, develop, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Self-managing while working well in a team environment.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and can 'think outside the box.'
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
