About the Role
Join a leading national civil contracting business as a Senior Project Manager to lead the project delivery team for a major road/pavement construction contract worth CIRCA $25m.
This is a senior level position requiring a seasoned project manager with a demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with the company's senior management team to plan and execute this MRWA project in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
Key responsibilities include financial management and cost reporting, commercial and contractual acumen, and excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
As a successful candidate, you will be offered a superb salary of CIRCA $250-260K Base plus Super (& uplift for days on site).
You will have a minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years' post graduate civil industry experience.
You will also have proven success as a project manager on Australian road/pavement construction projects for civil contractors, thorough working knowledge of AS2124 Contracts standards, and experience on MRWA or other Australian state road authority projects.
Key Requirements
• Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years' post graduate civil industry experience
• Proven success as a project manager on Australian road/pavement construction projects for civil contractors
• Thorough working knowledge of AS2124 Contracts standards
• Experience on MRWA or other Australian state road authority projects
• Strong commercial acumen in order to interpret project financial statements and implement strategies to promote profitability and positive cashflow
• Excellent leadership and mentoring capability and great all-round communication skills
• Ability to undertake regular site travel essential
• Perth/WA based currently, with existing rights to live and work in Australia
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
