About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join UGL Major Projects division in Western Australia. As we support large Building Services Projects, we are looking for a skilled professional to lead our construction team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with client safety systems and processes.
  • Plan and implement environmental management of construction activities in line with client's environmental management systems and processes.
  • Ensure team members complete allocated projects in accordance with specifications.
  • Work with the Project Engineer to plan construction activities, set priorities, and allocate resources to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the estimate of 'costs of construction' for allocated projects in terms of labour, materials, and costs.
  • Assist with the preparation of detailed Activity Method Statements, Task Risk Assessments, Project Work Notifications, Site Environmental Plans for works including ECRL possessions, construction activities, and pre-commissioning.
  • Develop and deliver pre-start briefings and toolboxes.
  • Undertake special tasks and investigations and make recommendations as directed by management.

About You

  • At least 5 years' experience as an electrical supervisor in a construction-related environment.
  • Educational qualifications and relevant certifications in electrical trade.
  • Relevant Construction Card, e.g., White Card, and necessary tickets and licenses.
  • Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar projects.
  • Australian driver's license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
