About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join UGL's Major Projects division in Western Australia. As an Area Manager - Electrical, you will be responsible for planning, maintaining, coordinating, and monitoring construction programs and activities involved in large Building Services Projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing work packages, documentation, and quality requirements for tender by potential subcontractors
  • Ensuring that requirements of the Management System are implemented, including the use of process control plans, auditing of Supplier/Subcontractors, and Management of Deficiencies in the works
  • Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and cost to complete and processing of subcontractor and supplier progress claims

About You

  • A recognised degree in an engineering discipline or other relevant tertiary qualification (TAFE or similar)
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer or equivalent delivering large Building Services Projects
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
