About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at UGL. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, for the accommodation units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all mechanical installations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment and adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation for mechanical components.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, specifications, and compliance records.

About You

  • You will have a strong understanding of Building Codes, utilities requirements, and building services to be implemented in residential buildings.
  • You will have a proven track record of working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, including strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
