About This Opportunity

KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business success through strategic talent development, employee relations, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement people strategies, policies, and processes to support all areas of the employment lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on Employee Relations matters, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Investigate employee grievances and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide best practice HR advice, coaching, and services to managers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Drive the successful execution of the Strategic Plan within the HR team.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and platforms, including SuccessFactors.
  • Conduct HR reporting and provide key data and metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Implement and drive Work, Health, and Safety management systems, including compliance and risk management.
  • Manage Workers Compensation for the business, including end-to-end claims management and return-to-work coordination.
  • Oversee key activities, such as HRIS data integrity and management, onboarding and offboarding, reward and recognition programs, HR policy development, and compliance reporting.
  • Participate in and/or manage other projects or tasks as required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience with strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and the employee lifecycle.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Healthcare/Medical Technology industry experience is advantageous.
  • Current knowledge of Australian employment law, legislation, regulations, and practices, including WHS Act and Regulations and workers compensation.
  • Working knowledge of New Zealand employment practices is advantageous.
  • Change management and transformational experience and/or exposure is preferred.
  • Ability to navigate HRIS systems, including SuccessFactors, and all Microsoft applications, including SharePoint.
  • Pragmatic and commercially savvy with a keen customer focus and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence outcomes collaboratively.
  • Flexible and agile with demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills for impactful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated strong organization skills and ability to deal with different priorities while remaining composed at all times.
  • A proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from various backgrounds.
