About the Role

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Sydney CBD

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Home and Investment Lending Manager to join our team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. As a key member of our Commercial segment, you will be responsible for supporting mid-market clients in their whole of wallet aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial bankers to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet client needs, ensuring a holistic approach to customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with commercial bankers to deepen relationships and attain whole of wallet goals, while protecting client financial wellbeing.
  • Contribute to Retail district performance by seeking to outperform individual targets and drive portfolio growth.
  • Develop strong knowledge of local market trends and drive customer and stakeholder referrals.
  • Embrace opportunities for change and continuous improvement, sharing learnings with the wider team and other ANZ teams and partners.
  • Coach and support Commercial business partners to provide exceptional customer experience, providing advice and expertise to solve problems and challenges.
  • Adhere to ANZ's policies, processes, and standards, demonstrating full compliance to risk measures.
Requirements
  • Previous credit experience with deep product and market knowledge, with a proven ability to achieve results through relationship sales and customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing relationships across teams, and a strong financial acumen with understanding of different lending structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build long-term reciprocal relationships with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Previous lending experience, preferably in Consumer or Commercial, with knowledge and experience in dealing with SMEs.
