Job Summary

Zenergy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our environmental management team, you will play a critical role in improving our environmental management and regulatory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective environmental management strategies to minimize our environmental footprint
  • Provide authoritative technical advice to internal stakeholders on environmental matters
  • Collaborate with internal customers and external stakeholders to drive commercial growth through sustainable practices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Conduct environmental audits, incident investigations, and report writing to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure Zenergy remains a leader in environmental sustainability

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental advisory or natural resource management roles
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly developed commercial acumen, with the ability to align environmental performance with business objectives
