Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective environmental management strategies to minimize our environmental footprint
  • Provide authoritative technical advice to internal stakeholders on environmental matters
  • Collaborate with internal customers and external stakeholders to drive environmental performance and regulatory compliance
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices, ensuring our environmental management systems are aligned with industry standards
  • Conduct environmental audits, incident investigations, and report writing to identify areas for improvement and track progress

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental advisory or natural resource management roles
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed commercial acumen, with the ability to align environmental performance with business objectives
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience managing environmental approval processes
