Senior Tax Specialist Job Description
This senior role requires a highly skilled professional to manage and coordinate tax-related activities for our organization. Our team is seeking an expert who can provide strategic guidance on tax matters.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulations;
- Identify and address tax issues across multiple jurisdictions, implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities;
- Manage tax audits and prepare required documentation promptly;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external tax consultants and tax authorities;
- Conduct deep research on tax issues and provide clear, actionable guidance;
- Analyze financial statements for tax implications and advise accordingly;
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting;
- Monitor tax calendars to ensure all filings are submitted on time;
- Recommend tax-efficient business practices and identify potential savings opportunities;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- 6+ years of experience as a Senior Tax Specialist or in a senior role within a Big Four public accounting firm;
- Strong experience with international tax and relevant legislation;
