We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our taxation obligations, including income tax, FBT, GST/BAS, and customs duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and lodging corporate tax obligations, including Income Tax, FBT and GST/BAS returns.
  • Monitoring and interpreting new tax laws, implementing changes across the business where required.
  • Advising on customs matters, identifying opportunities to reduce indirect tax and duty costs.
  • Providing accurate tax provisions for employees.
  • Analysing market and industry trends, implementing tax strategies accordingly.
  • Managing relationships and operations with banks, including oversight of payroll and bank transactions.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Holding a CPA or CA qualification with a tertiary degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Having strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, compliance, and corporate tax obligations.
  • Demonstrating experience managing complex tax processes, ideally within a large corporate environment.
  • Exhibiting excellent analytical, advisory, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to interpret financial statements and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and project management skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a drive to identify efficiencies and deliver cost savings.
