Job Summary

The Head of Tax role is responsible for leading the end-to-end tax strategy across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing corporate tax compliance, reporting, and governance. This position drives strategic initiatives to optimize our tax position and support business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate tax compliance obligations including income tax returns, BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, contractor withholding tax, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Provide strategic tax advisory support on M&A, corporate restructuring, and international expansion.
  • Partner with senior leadership and the Board on tax strategy and planning opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a robust tax governance framework.
  • Manage tax audits and ATO reviews in coordination with advisors and tax authorities.
  • Ensure alignment with internal controls, policies, and evolving tax legislation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Australian and New Zealand tax laws, as well as experience in leading tax teams and developing tax strategies. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
