The University of Queensland is seeking a highly organized and skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our International Development team.

About the Opportunity

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for 1 year until October 2025. The successful candidate will be based at our vibrant campus in Brisbane.

The estimated salary for this role is between $89,861 and $96,402 per annum, plus 17% superannuation contributions.

Job Description

We're looking for a talented individual to coordinate and support training, capacity building, and business development activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating project activities, including travel, events, and online training platforms;
  • Acting as a budget holder, ensuring financial compliance, and preparing reports;
  • Providing guidance to Development Assistants for project delivery;
  • Compiling short-term and long-term project reports;
  • Representing UQID at events and meetings, both locally and internationally;
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate project delivery, including planning, implementation, and evaluation;
  • Assist with tender preparation and management;
  • Create and manage marketing materials, including capability statements, brochures, and project documents;
  • Manage databases and contribute to reports and presentations;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in a relevant field, such as Project Management or Adult Education;
  • Relevant experience in training program support, project management, or related coordination roles;
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent English language skills;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, manage conflicting priorities, and navigate multicultural and diverse settings;
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
