In-reach Program Coordinator: Enhancing Cultural Heritage

This is a unique opportunity to join The University of Queensland as an In-reach Program Coordinator, working at the forefront of cultural heritage management and archaeology.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will coordinate the development and delivery of on-campus experiences that build skills and interest in archaeology and cultural heritage management. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the university, faculty, and central teams, as well as Everick Heritage Pty Ltd.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and updating existing content and resources, identifying needs and opportunities for developing additional resources (including digital), contributing to the recruitment, training, and mentorship of staff, providing regular reporting to the Steering Committee, and coordinating program-related documentation.
As part of this role, you will work closely with various teams to deliver impactful programs and contribute to the growth and development of pre-tertiary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and be part of a vibrant and diverse community.
About YouTo be successful in this position, you will possess a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You should also have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to develop and promote educational activities and event programming.
Familiarity with Australian Archaeology and/or cultural heritage is highly desirable, as is experience in planning and delivering programs, allocating resources, and providing training and mentorship to staff.
