Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and professional individual to fill the position of Correspondence Officer.
This role requires strong research, coordination, and communication skills, as well as the ability to prepare high-quality documents in line with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, coordinate and prepare complex correspondence and reports, including ministerial documents, response letters, briefing notes, estimates papers, service delivery statements, and parliamentary questions.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including judiciary, departmental officers, and community legal agencies.
- Provide timely, strategic and operational advice to management.
- E nsure the preparation of high-quality, accurate and clear documents in line with established procedures, style guides, and writing protocols.
- Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Manage daily operations by tracking and monitoring communications, prioritizing tasks, ensuring efficient distribution of information, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping legislation.
- Contribute to the improvement of information systems that support executive correspondence and record management.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with team members and directors to deliver high-standard work.
- Provide additional support when required.
