We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Richmond Quarter team in Melbourne. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the precinct, ensuring that maintenance, capital works, and tenancy deliveries are performed with minimal disruptions to tenants.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and complete risk management program requirements to meet agreed KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with Building Code of Australia and other relevant statutory accountability.
- Manage maintenance functions, including servicing systems, plant, and equipment, to manufacturer specifications.
- Contribute to budgeting and business planning processes for the property.
- Manage contractors, ensuring they meet insurance requirements and comply with Work Safe procedures and legislation.
- Tender service agreements and contracts in consultation with the Sustainability Operations Manager and Property Services Supervisor.
- Assist with tenancy fit-out works and landlord works.
- Proven experience in supervising building services, with a focus on retail assets and systems.
- Strong OH&S and customer satisfaction skills.
- Experience working in retail-related assets or retailer environments.
- Leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Good financial aptitude and computer literacy.
- Competence in operating Building Management Systems.
- Contract and contractor supervision and negotiation skills.
