Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to play a pivotal role in the lifecycle management of Australia's Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle fleet.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive configuration control processes, including baseline establishment, change management, and audit support.
  • They will oversee vehicle technical data packages, configuration records, and maintenance history to ensure seamless sustainment and upgrade activities.
  • Closely collaborating with engineering, sustainment, logistics, and operational teams, they will validate vehicle readiness and support Defence operational requirements.
  • Conducting regular configuration audits and verification activities, they will ensure compliance with Defence Configuration Management standards and Land Systems policies.

This role requires strong proficiency with Configuration Management Tools such as TeamCentre and experience with Defence asset and maintenance management systems (AMPS, SCPM).

Applicants must possess a relevant degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. Alternatively, equivalent Defence experience will be considered. Mandatory possession of an active NV1 or above Defence Security Clearance is required.
