Asset Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Expert to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that values safety, sustainability, and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the safety and performance of iconic assets across water and drainage systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake intermediate and comprehensive asset inspections and continuously monitor and respond to anomalies in surveillance data and field reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on asset management processes and procedures, including maintenance strategy determination, condition monitoring, and root cause analysis.
  • Carry out assigned tasks in line with asset management processes and procedures, including but not limited to register assets in Maximo.
  • Initiate and develop business cases for capital projects in line with our capital management system.
  • Build and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships by providing technical advice in a collaborative way.

Requirements include a tertiary qualification in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, high-level understanding and experience in dam safety management and dams engineering, as well as strong interpersonal skills together with excellent verbal and written skills.
