We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager - Regional Operations to join our team. Reporting to the National Health and Safety Manager, this position will cover our QLD/NT and NSW/ACT regions.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing health and safety management support to both our current operational construction projects and the health and safety teams across our projects and tenders.

About the Role
  • Ensure health and safety management of regional operations and projects is effectively implemented to achieve compliance with MMS/PMP, legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Provide effective and practical advice, development, and mentoring of project health and safety teams to enable independence and capability in the safe delivery of projects.
  • Deliver health and safety direction, strategy, and implementation across the region in accordance with the region business plan.
  • Deliver legal compliance and management insight.
  • Ensure consistent, coordinated, and effective approach to health and safety across the region.
  • Ensure continual improvement in health and safety performance year on year.
About You
  • A minimum of 10 years operational experience in the application of safety management principles in the construction industry.
  • A hold of a minimum of Diploma in OHS qualification.
  • An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, preferably with stand-up training experience.
  • A competent user of in-house software, with working knowledge of wider applications.
  • Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents.
  • Working knowledge of risk assessment and audit procedure.
