About the Role: As a Youth Justice Worker, you will play a vital part in empowering young people to steer their lives in a positive direction by acting as part of an extended network of care.
Job Description: As a keyworker in a young person's care team, you will monitor progress and support rehabilitative outcomes. Full training is provided, including a fully funded Certificate IV in Youth Justice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower young people in custody to make positive changes in their lives
- Act as part of an extended network of care
- Monitor progress and support rehabilitative outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to young people to help them work towards daily goals
Required Skills and Qualifications: We look for individuals with passion, empathy, and life experience who can adapt and manage challenging situations. A dedication to teamwork, verbal and written communication skills, and pro-activity are also essential.
Benefits: In addition to full-time employment and a salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (depending on location), we offer relocation assistance for our Malmsbury facility in central Victoria.
