Aboriginal Health Education Program Manager

The Walhallow Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a skilled Aboriginal Health Education Program Manager to spearhead innovative health promotion programs in the picturesque New England region of NSW.
About the Role:
- • Develop and implement community health projects focusing on chronic disease prevention, maternal/child health, and health literacy. • Collaborate with regional health agencies and multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally sensitive healthcare services. • Create educational programs to improve health outcomes and encourage community engagement. • Facilitate referral pathways to ensure access to appropriate healthcare services. • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with program guidelines and best practices in health promotion.
Requirements:
- • A Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (or equivalent qualification). • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in community health project management or a related role. • Strong communication and project management skills. • Experience working within Aboriginal health contexts. • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. • Knowledge of chronic disease management and preventative health strategies. • Understanding of culturally sensitive healthcare practices.

Compensation Package:
